Hutton Community Centre re-opened their café facility on Friday 27 August 2021 following a refurbishment project.
The opening ceremony was attended by some funders of the project and representatives from Brentwood Borough Council. The total project cost £25,000 and Brentwood Borough Council has been instrumental in getting the community centre up and running. The partners of the refurbishment project include:
- Essex County Council
- Rayleigh Road CO-OP (community support scheme)
- Axis / Travis Perkins (in partnership)
- HAGS
- Hallmark Care Homes
- The Lighthouse Project
- Brentwood Grace Centre
Brentwood Borough Council and its partners are working on the new inclusive Hutton Recreation play area. The development is underway and will get a total of £320,000 spent on refurbishment.
