Action-packed Family Fun Days are back for the Summer Holidays

Exciting Family Fun Days are back this summer in Brentwood for everyone to enjoy and Brentwood Borough Council is calling out to any activity providers to come along and take part.

Events are free for anyone who will provide an activity for children. In return, they will get free promotion at the event. Anyone providing a paid for activity will need to pay a small pitch fee.

The fun-packed days usually have an attendance or 1,500 or over and the £4 price of a wrist band includes unlimited rides, inflatables, Punch & Judy shows, Superstar Sports and other activities available on the day.

Paid for activities include face painting and handling animals, as most activities are for children under 10-years-old. There will also be free advice and community support groups on hand to help people.

Councillor Will Russell, Chair of the Community, Environment and Enforcement Committee said:

“The summer family fun days are a great way for residents and visitors alike to get involved in the best community activities, make new friends and enjoy a great day out locally. People can bring picnics and learn more about what is happening in Brentwood. There’s plenty of action for adults and children including health and wellbeing activities. There will also be advice and support groups, for anyone who needs guidance or help. I would also like to thank our sponsors for helping us make these fun days happen. All your hard work ensures that everyone has a fantastic day out.”

The Fun Days are sponsored by a host of organisations, including Aspire, Fairview homes, Mullis & Peake LLP, Razzamataz, Rainer Hughes and RCH Care Homes, Mullis & Peake LLP will be giving advice on how to grow your own vegetables and razzmatazz will be providing dance activities for people to take part in.

Event times are from 10.30am to 3.30pm and the locations of each Family Fun Day events are:

• Friday 29th July - Warley Playing Fields - CM13 3AZ
• Friday 5th August - Ingatestone - Seymour Fields - CM4 0BE
• Friday 12th August - Brentwood Centre Field - CM15 9NN
• Friday 19th August - Doddinghurst Village hall & field - CM15 0NJ
• Friday 26th August - Hutton Recreational Ground - CM13 1BS
