Avid tree lovers can come along and find out more about the history of Brentwood trees with Brentwood Borough Council’s Arboricultural Advisor, Alan Marsh.

Active Essex are the Physical Activity and Sport Partnership for Essex, Southend and Thurrock. They are one of 43 active partnerships in England, who work jointly with local partners to help people bring physical activities and sport together, to make their lives better.

Councillor Will Russell, Chair of the Community, Environment and Enforcement Committee at Brentwood Borough Council said:

“Brentwood has a lot of history and the walk and talk sessions will help bring that history alive. These walks are a great way for people to improve their health and wellbeing by being more active. They are also a good way to learn more about the history of the borough, visit interesting places and make new friends.”

People can join the free Tree Walk & Talk on Wednesday 27th July at 6pm – 7:30pm. This session will take place at Warley Country Park, Warley, Brentwood CM14 5GP. The meeting point is the entrance of Lark Close.
