Come and join us for our first Summer Family Fun day!

Families are invited to come along to Brentwood Borough Council’s free summer family fun day on Friday 29 July at Warley Playing Fields CM13 3AZ, from 10.30am to 3.30pm.

With a host of exciting events planned, next Friday promises to be the first of a series of fun-filled days with tons of activities for families and especially for children under 10, over the summer holidays.

Whilst most events are free of charge, there is a £4 wristband charge for some of the rides.

Cllr Will Russell, Chair of the Community, Environment and Enforcement Committee said: “This first summer fun day will be a big hit with everyone and it will bring people in the community together, to enjoy a host of activities. These fun days are always very popular and there’s always something to suit everyone’s tastes. Every fun day is a bit different, so we hope to see people coming along to other ones too. We would also like to thank all the activity organisers, for ensuring that everyone has a good time.”

Events on Friday include:

• Punch & Judy show at 11am, 1pm and 2.30pm with balloon modelling in between shows
• Come and dance with Razzamataz between 11-1.30pm
• Pop Up short tennis with Everyone Active
• Build your own wall with Fairview Homes
• Football, soft archery and Super Star Sports
• Have a go novelty bikes with Trailnet
• Introduction to baseball with Brentwood baseball club
• Colouring and giveaways with Brentwood Care Centre

The Fun Days are sponsored by a host of organisations, including Aspire, Fairview Homes, Mullis & Peake LLP, Razzamataz, Rainer Hughes and RCH Care Homes.

For all the family fun days, the times are from 10.30am to 3.30pm and the locations are:

• Friday 29th July - Warley Playing Fields - CM13 3AZ
• Friday 5th August - Ingatestone - Seymour Fields - CM4 0BE
• Friday 12th August - Brentwood Centre Field - CM15 9NN
• Friday 19th August - Doddinghurst Village hall & field - CM15 0NJ
• Friday 26th August - Hutton Recreational Ground - CM13 1BS
