Thousands attend Shenfield Christmas Fayre

Thousands of residents and visitors attended the Shenfield Christmas Fayre on Sunday December 4 from 11am-4pm.
Crowds were entertained by the Grinch, stalls offering food, gifts and arts and crafts. SNAP raised funds from selling mulled wine. Music was provided by Four Eighty and Shenfield Wine Company. Entertainment from the Party Monster was sponsored by Rainer Hughes.
Chair of Community, Environment and Enforcement Committee, Cllr Will Russell said; "Everyone had a smashing time and it was great to see the community put on such a great spread of entertainment supported by our sponsors. Rainier Hughes for example sponsored Santa's Grotto which enabled funds to be raised for Kids Inspire. Free face painting, always popular, was made possible by Howe Chartered Surveyors. The French market went down very well and everyone loved spotting Jess and Woody and the Naughty Elf together with Batman, Storm Troopers and Deadpool characters. There was also free soft play and inflatables for the toddlers."
